Farrah's Birthday!! My Beautiful
Farrah is nine years old today. Still ruler of all
she surveys, all of us at Nyassa wish her a very happy birthday!

Oscar and Evie the two puppies from my "E" Litter are 1 year old today! All
of us at Nyassa wish them a very happy birthday.

 On
Sunday 9th August 2009 we made the long journey to the Bournemouth
Championship show in the company of Sarah Nix and Caluua, where our breed
judge was specialist Mrs A Fox.
The journey was made all the more worthwhile when Evie was placed 1st in
Puppy Bitch and then went on to take Best Puppy in Breed.
Before the equally long journey home we had to wait to compete in the Hound
Puppy Group. Again a wait worth the waiting for as Evie took Hound Puppy
Group 4!!
I am extremely proud of my beautiful young lady.

 Lara
14th December 1996 - 3rd July 2009
Today is a very sad day for me, I had to say goodbye to my beloved Lara
(KweKwe Kula at Nyassa). Her back legs just couldn’t support her any
more and she seemed to be in a lot of pain, her howls woke me up at 3.45
am this morning. (Friday).
 As soon as I saw her I knew today would be one of the saddest in my
life, it was going to be especially hard as she always managed to be at
my side for her breakfast and dinner. I can’t remember a day she
wouldn’t eat!
Lara had a wonderful sense of humour with quirky little traits she
passed on to her progeny. Always there, never imposing, calm, never
aggressive, always happy with other dogs, lovely with people especialy
children; a wonderful ambassador for the breed. She, will always have a very special place in my heart, I know the pain
will ease with time; wonderful memories of her will stay forever. She
is still with me, living on through her two beautiful daughters Kim and Ranzi and
her grandchildren.
Special thanks to Pat and Sid Thorne (KweKwe) for entrusting Lara to me,
you will never know how much joy she brought me for 12 ½ years, a
constant and loving companion.
Loved by all who knew you. Sweet dreams my special girl; our home is a
sadder place without you. Run free, leap high until the day comes when I
can once again join you in the boundless energies of youth.
